We take pride in our livestock and raising them in the most humane and natural ways possible.
Our methods are designed to reduce stress on our cattle and give them the highest quality of life while they are with us.

Low-Contact Handling
We use low-contact handling methods to reduce stress and band our bulls, which is a pain-free castration method. Castrated steers are less aggressive, resulting in calmer cattle that are less likely to fight for dominance and cause injuries.

Injury-Reducing Facility Design
Our facilities are designed using gated areas and corrals to prevent injuries. We do not use electric fencing or barbed wire, which can lead to cattle becoming stuck in fencing. Our feedlots used crushed gravel rather than concrete, which reduces back, leg and hoof issues.

Indoor / Outdoor Shelter
Our cattle have full-time access to both indoor and outdoor shelter areas that provide them shelter from the elements and ample access to sunshine, which keeps them relaxed.

On Demand Feed & Water
Our cattle have a constant, on-demand supply of green hay, grain and limestone-filtered water. This allows them to graze and drink when they prefer and eliminates aggressive behavior to fight over feed and water. Their water is heated during the winter to aid in digestion and help them keep warm.
