Purchasing custom beef means you purchase a cow or part of a cow directly from the farmer who raised it, rather than buying beef from the grocery store.
The Process
Reserve your beef
Contact us to reserve your cattle with Mineral Ridge. You can reserve a whole, half, or quarter cow.
Pay for your beef
You pay us a set price per pound based on the hanging weight of the cattle after slaughter.
Customize your processing
You choose your cuts of meat, thickness of steaks, size of roasts, amount of ground beef/burger patties, and quantity (number or pounds) per vacuum-sealed package. This is done by filling out a cut sheet provided by butcher and returned by you to the butcher.
Pick up your beef
The butcher contacts you when your beef has been processed and flash frozen. You pick up your beef directly from the butcher and pay them for processing.
